Umami yaziwa ngokuba yincasa yesihlanu yokunambitha, ukubonelela ngemvakalelo echazwe njengemnandi kunye nenyama. Ifumaneka kwizinto ezininzi zokutya kwansuku zonke, kubandakanywa utamatisi, ushizi weparmesan, amakhowa, i-soy sauce kunye ne-anchovies. Ukutshiza isosi yesosi kwisuphu okanye uthango lweshizi leParmesan kwisaladi yokunyusa i-umami flavour. Yilahla i-anchovie kwi-sauce ye-tomato, kwaye inyibilika ukuphucula incasa (akukho ncasa yentlanzi!).
Nantsi enye yeendlela endizithandayo zokufumana umami nge-portobello mushroom burger. Kuyinto emnandi, isidlo esineekhalori ezisezantsi, kwaye sanelisa ngokumangalisayo. Ubunzima kwiikhalori ezili-15 kuphela kwikhowa nganye, zikhululeke ukuzenzela ibhega ephindwe kabini! Nantsi iresiphi:

Gcoba i-mushroom (i-pan, i-grill ngaphandle, okanye i-oven) malunga nemizuzu emi-2 kwicala ngalinye, de ithambe. Beka kwi-bun, kunye netyuwa kunye nepepile, kwaye ngaphezulu ngeshizi yeparmesan, ukuba uyafuna. Yongeza isilayi settuce kunye netumato.
